Hi there, I am Kendra Longson and I am the co-founder and owner of Shamrock Stables.
My husband Steve and I have been together since we were young teenagers. Our dream to produce our own English and Western competing horses finally could come true when a little piece of land became available to buy in my home area of North Yorkshire in the Yorkshire Dales.
We bought that land, set up a small livery yard and gradually year by year, bought up surrounding land and now have over 350 acres for our breeding, training and rescue stables.

Howdy, I am Steve Longson and I am the co-founder and owner of Shamrock Stables alongside my wife Kendra.
You'll most likely find me out and about on one of our Western trained horses as I'm a born Texan, it's in my blood so to speak!
I do compete in some English shows with some of our more strong-willed and very forward going stallions which is good fun. Not forgetting Shamrock Chai, she's a one off special mare to me :)
Kendra and I have 2 children, Jessica who is 19 and Jake who is 9. They both have the horse 'bug' and both compete in English and Western events on their ponies and horses. Jessica has gained her Amateur flat jockey license and is working well with our home bred Thoroughbred's and first Edgehill tb Edgehill's Secret Silver.
